In 1960, the first formal, professional, and designated factory in China was established in the coastal city of Qinhuangdao to manufacture combat rations for troops. It was the original PLA 4003 factory. After restructuring, it has developed into today's Qinhuangdao Ocean Food Co., Ltd. As a comprehensive food processing enterprise integrating R&D, production and sales, it mainly produces more than 100 varieties in six categories, including all kinds of canned food, Food ration bar, Self-heating food packaging, ready to eat food and soup products. It has provided a large amount of high-quality food for the 1976 Tangshan earthquake in 1976, the self-defense and counterattack against Vietnam in 1979, the flood relief in 1998, the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, the COVID-19 in 2020, and China's peacekeeping forces and emergency management departments abroad. For more than 60 years, Qinhuangdao Ocean Food Co., Ltd. has always adhered to its original intention, never forgetting the red heritage, and won the trust of consumers with its hard core quality.
